A little more than a week after Microsoft released the first Windows 11 build for Insiders, the company has rolled out an update that bumps the OS to build 22000.65.
It brings along a bunch of bug fixes and improvements, though nothing big in terms of new features.
There are a few small additions, however. Miner tweaks like the addition of a search box right in the Start Menu, and the reintroduction of the Refresh option in the right-click context menu in the desktop, but that’s about all.
New features are expected to be part of future build releases, including anticipated additions like native support for Android apps in the operating system.

Unlike Windows 10 Dev channel builds, Windows 11 updates for Insiders are expected in the form of cumulative updates. From now, leading up to the general release of the operating system sometimes later in the year.
That’s because the new operating system is mostly completed as far as under the hood stuff is concerned. This preview version of Windows 11 will only be serviced as cumulative updates to build 22000 that pack in the improvements.
Redmond might introduce more UI changes and tweaks via Feature Experience Packs without impacting the underlying build.
And this big change is all thanks to the modularization and componentization of the operating platform.
Still, there is a lot of new and changed stuff in this new release. And if you are rocking Windows 11 to test drive the upcoming OS, then you might want to deploy it. Microsoft, in fact, promises more changes and improvements, as it is still looking at all the feedback from the first version of the preview.
To get build 22000.65, be sure you are on the Dev channel of the Windows Insider Program, and then pull the build via Windows Update.
