Windows 10 November 2021 Update is ready for showtime

With all the hoopla around Windows 11, its launch and bug mayhem, you could be forgiven for thinking that Microsoft is fully focused on this latest version of its OS.

But while all eyes are on the new version of the operating system that it slowly finding its groove, teams in Redmond are also gearing up for another big release for the year. That being the Windows 10 November 2021 Update, which is just around the corner.

The next feature update has garnered even more significance after the updated system requirements for Windows 11 that made it eligible only for certain devices.

As in, newer hardware that packs the necessary security bells and whistles.

This makes this new release for what is currently the most popular desktop operating system on the planet a savior — particularly for those folks who find that their current computing setup is working as intended and are in no mood to invest in new hardware or machines.

Windows 10 21H2 Update

Getting back to the Windows 10 November 2021 Update, Microsoft has made this version available for seekers in the Release Preview channel for Windows Insiders.

Build 19044.1288 has been selected as the candidate for general release by the company, and it will be the one that lands on production devices. And if you want to get your hands on it, you can do so by enrolling their PC in the preview program, bypassing the offer to install Windows 11.

And while there isn’t any major new feature in Windows 10 November 2021, this version does include welcome refinements and improvements that are a must for users.

At this point in time, there is no ETA on when the rollout begins for these users, but we should hear more on this shortly.
