Good news for PC gamers! It appears that the Share button has been enabled in a recently released Windows 11 build, though the feature is not available to all Insiders yet.
You need to be on the new build 22000.194 to get access to it.
Yes, this is the infamous preview build of the upcoming OS that mandated TPM 2.0 requirement for the operating system. It is available in the Beta channel of the Windows Insider, so it should not be long before this feature rolls out for everyone.
A YouTube named Winnie first discovered this feature, and uploaded a video of the feature working last week.
Tom Warren followed up with a confirmation, revealing that Microsoft has finally enabled the new Xbox Share button on Xbox Series X and S controllers in Windows 11. An official confirmation would have been welcome, but this will do for now.

As for the feature itself, this obviously concerns those who use the Xbox Wireless Controller to play games. The Share button feature is a mainstay option on the Xbox consoles, letting users capture screenshots and record gameplay video clips.
Microsoft, it seems, is ready to make it available to Windows 11 systems as well.
Should come as no surprise, as the company has promised to make the OS the best way to play games on the PC platform. In fact, the software titan has been on record stating that Windows 11 will be the best Windows ever for gaming.
The operating system, Redmond says, is designed in a way to get the best out of the hardware available to it. And then there are features like the DirectStorage API, support for which is baked in the OS.
